Ed and Trey have been bestest friends and gamer buds since they were 8 years old in the 80’s. Yup, we’re old. 26 years ago, Trey left Tucson for a career in game dev in Los Angeles and then Vancouver – while Ed made solo indie games, built fighting game sticks for professional EVO players, and even owned his own arcade in Tucson. A little more than a year ago, Trey moved back to Tucson and he and Ed have joined forces to live out their childhood dreams of being full-time indie game developers together… as Echo Tango… because it sounded cool and naming things is really hard.

Ed and Trey are determined to deliver games that take Players to their happy places and coax them into staying for awhile. We are making games inspired by the experiences that have molded and shaped us as gamers and developers. Our focuses are deep and super-satisfying gameplay, game worlds that fully immerse Players and spark their imaginations, and surprising and delighting Players with true innovation that takes them to places they have never been before. But above all, we are making games that have a SOUL.

  Oooooooh, that’s so deep. But what does that mean smarty pants website writer person? For us, SOUL means we are making games for all the right reasons. Our games are going take risks. Our games are going to have something to say. Our games are going to be made by humans, for humans, and explore the human condition in some of the ways only video games can. We are also committed to trying to make the world a better place by donating a portion of our gross revenue to causes and organizations we believe in.
